Use C-one™ with iDevice

For our friends and supporters using iDevices, our Flex Edition of C-one™ includes an adaptor to connect the C-one™ Micro-USB connector to your lightning charging port.
The 2-in-1-charging™ feature is tested and working, so you can charge C-one™ and your iPhone at the same time with only one charger.
Please note, the charging input on C-one™ requires a Micro-USB connector. A fitting cable is provided with C-one™.
Due to most iDevices not providing OTG functionality, the 2-way-charging™ feature does not work with iDevices and C-one™ does not get charged from your iDevice.
Of course, you can always carry and use C-one™ also stand-alone without attaching it to your device. The provided Micro-USB cover will help to protect from scratches and also keeps C-one™ safe.

Various design ideas challenged by the reality of required space for implementation.
Just to list some of the topics we had reviewed, challenged ourselves and finally came up with solutions for:

  • the battery size and dimension,
  • the position, direction and finally the angle of the earbuds residing in the charging case,
  • innovation of the overall charging concept, resulting in our unique 2-in-1-charging™ and 2-way-charging™, and of course
  • different views on design aesthetics.

Always with the aim to provide for you the desired functionality and usability in an aesthetic and appealing design, we worked relentlessly, innovated, tried different ideas and approaches and tested various options to ultimately reach the final design of C-one™.

About us

I’m Thomas Markfelder, a German Electrical Engineer (Dipl.-Ing. Univ.), living in Hong Kong for the last 16+ years.
My experience grew from starting as a project manager for a German semiconductor company to help build a local support centre for Asian mobile phone makers using our mobile phone development platforms.
The role expanded to Director of Program Management over the years with some broadening excursions into Global Platform Product Marketing, Ecosystem management and also Business Development.
With the acquisition of our division by a big US semiconductor company the focus area expanded from mobile phones towards enabling communications for PCs, Tablet Computers and also IoT (Internet of Things) devices.

Today, I build on the experience gained from working with various customers, Tier 1 mobile phone makers, design houses and PC makers, in Korea, SE-Asia, China, USA and Japan and also apply my intercultural EQ that I was fortunate to hone with my cross-cultural and cross-functional team of project managers and experts in various disciplines.

With my experience and C-one™, I aim to enable JTLK own product designs in the wearable market.
